Innovative concept

This audioguide introduces a totally new, innovative concept to the guided visit. It comprises both an audio player and an interactive document. The system enables you to design your own visit with a simple and intuitive plan, which includes easily-accessible extra information.

Interacts with printed documents

Audiopen interacts with documents printedusing a technique called quadrichromy. The Audiopen 'sees' invisible half-tone areas on printed matter and when it detects an area with information encoded into it, Audiopen plays the appropriate track for that area.

Simple to use and fun for audio tours, trails and treasure hunts!

Audiopen is very user-friendly: all you have to do is point your Audiopen at a picture, an icon or a text-section to listen to the commentary that goes with it. This gives visitors the independence to design their own visit. Very easy to use, it can be programmed according to the specific needs of the museum or historic site for example and visitors – according to their centre of interest, age and nationality. The system also allows you to create quizzes and games oriented around a fun route.

Inbuilt speaker or with headset

It has an inbuilt speaker, but it can also be used with a headset.
