Summerlea Heritage Centre have recently purchased three Audiopoints to replace two existing audio exhibits that were failing and to display audio tracks for more temporary exhibitions. Having purchased Audiopoints for other projects, Audiopoint's were chosen again for their reliability and ability to stand up to the harsh treatment that the public can inflict!

Audiopoint is an indoor listening station that is ideal for temporary or permanent exhibitions.

Audiopoint is designed to be flexible, very simple to use and update. All audio and graphical information can easily be updated by inhouse staff. Templates are given to assist in creating labels for the front panel. Simple text labels can be created to labels having full colour graphics. Updating audio files is a simple as copying the new MP3 files to a memory card, renaming the files and inserting the memory card back into the Audiopoint. No software is required.

Audiopoint is highly customiseable and can have up to two handsets, it can have speaker if required and have with four, six or eight buttons. A range of mounting options are available including lectern style bases, desk stands and wall mounting brackets.

As the standard Audiopoint is not fixed to one position, it is ideal for exhibition spaces that change regularly.

Audiopoint has a robust, flexible design that works well in any gallery.

Audiopoint are very flexible and are noted for there ease of use by the visitor and inhouse staff

Audiopoints are used to play content for many oral history projects exhibiting around the country. However, some Audiopoints move about the country with touring exhibitions, some are installed in Northern Scotland in visitor centres, two battery powered desk mount Audiopoints play bird sounds in the New Forest while one Audiopoint is installed at a Finland air exhibition, another is at a vineyard describing the winemaking process.

Audiopoints play any kind of audio information in almost any location.
